Search continues for missing woman one year later

Lee Herald Favicon 16It has been one year since Keri Ann Cefarelli, a 41 year-old mother of one, went missing, but the search continues.

The Lee County Sheriff’s office is renewing its call for assistance from the public in locating Cefarelli, who was last seen on January 5, 2017.

“The last year has been a struggle for Keri’s family in not knowing what happened to her,” said Crime Stoppers Coordinator Trish Routte.  “When someone seemingly falls off the grid, the people who love her are instinctively going to envision every scenario possible.  The goal is to find Keri safe and return her to her parents and teenage son.”

According to Tourre, Cefarelli’s family and friends have been very concerned since the woman disappearance and have worked with detectives who have conducted the search over the last year.  Cefarelli did have a known history of drug use, so it is possible that she could be in the area still using narcotics.  She is 5’5” and 120 pounds with brown eyes.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Cefarelli in the last few months should contact 1-800-780-TIPS (8477) or through the P3Tips mobile app.
