Two teenagers are under arrest after being caught sleeping inside of a home they are accused of burgling.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested two teens, ages 15 and 17 on Friday at a home in North Fort Myers after the homeowner discovered the pair sleeping inside their home.
The two teens were apprehended as they attempted to flee the home in a stolen Cadillac they had stowed inside the home’s garage.
In a news release, LCSO says that the pair were believed to be responsible for a series of vehicle burglaries in the overnight hours Friday inside the Moody River Community.
